LINDENHURST, NY — 2021 has been the year of the stuffed dessert cookie shop. Duchess has opened several shops across Long Island with the gooey stuffed cookies that come in traditional and experimental flavors. Now Chonky Cookies brings the trendy dessert to North Lindenhurst. The store had a soft opening last week at 646 N. Wellwood Ave. in Sunrise Plaza. The cookies come in flavors like S'mores, Cookies & Cream, Cotton Candy, Cinna Bun, PB & J and Bada Bing, which is inspired by Italian rainbow cookies.
