GREENWICH, CT — The second annual Greenwich Point comedy show is scheduled for Sept. 18 at the Clambake Pavilion, according to a news release. New York City headlining comedians will entertain guests with a picnic style show as it's a "BYOE" (bring your own everything) event. Tables, chairs, and tablecloths will be provided but guests bring their own food, drinks, table decor, plates, utensils. Reusables and recyclables are highly encouraged. The event will raise money for Friends of Greenwich Point, supporting the conservation, education and recreation of Greenwich Point Park and Beach. "We are very excited for the second Greenwich Point Comedy Night and are thrilled that Stephanie Norton and Kerri Kinsella are again co-chairing and organizing this amazing comedy event," said Wendy Enelow in a news release. Enelow is the President of the Friends of Greenwich Point Board of Directors. "The evening will bring the community together for a fun night of entertainment under the stars at Greenwich Point, all while raising awareness and funds that will benefit one of our town's treasured spaces." Greenwich Point Comedy Night is one of only three events that are hosted at Greenwich Point after hours, the others being the 4th of July Fireworks and the Greenwich Point Conservancy's Beach Ball. "We are so excited to team up with Friends of Greenwich Point to support our wonderful beach and park," added Stephanie Norton, co-chair of Greenwich Point Comedy Night with Kerri Kinsella. "We cannot think of a better way to spend an evening than laughing as the sun sets at Greenwich Point! The night will be unforgettable." Greenwich Point Comedy Night will begin at 6 p.m. for dinner and mingling, with the comedy entertainment beginning at 7:30 p.m. The last hour from 9-10 p.m. will include more socializing and music. Tickets are on sale now and there are limited quantities. Tickets can be purchased here.
