Press release from Western Kentucky University: August 2, 2021 WKU senior Abigail Marie Brown (left) and WKU graduate Sara Baylee Hayes (right) were honored by Delta Zeta Sorority's National Council. Delta Zeta Sorority's National Council has honored a WKU student and a May 2021 graduate. Abigail Marie Brown of Louisville, a senior Marketing and Applied Data Analytics major, was selected as a 2021 recipient of the Florence Hood Miner Award. The award is given to members of Delta Zeta who in their junior year made the greatest contribution to their college, chapter and Delta Zeta through outstanding leadership on the campus while maintaining a good academic record. Sara Baylee Hayes of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, who majored in Theatre with a minor in Fashion Merchandising, was selected as a 2021 recipient of the Grace Mason Lundy Award. The award presented to senior members of Delta Zeta who throughout their college years have given greatest evidence of loyalty, devotion and service to their chapters and to the Sorority.
