LONG VALLEY, NJ — With some having experienced challenges with getting into New Jersey's Motor Vehicle Commission Offices, a pop-up version is planning to come to Long Valley on Tuesday, Oct. 5.
New Jersey Assemblyman Brian Bergen, R-25th Dist., recently made the announcement to his constituents on social media that he'd be bringing the MVC to several destinations within his legislative district, the Long Valley stop among them.
The mobile facility is planning to stay in the parking lot of Long Valley's Village Shopping Center on 62 East Mill Road on Oct. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Among the services offered, residents can:
Renew, change information, get a duplicate or make other changes to their driver's licensesRenew or get a duplicate vehicle registration cardTurn in license platesPick up placards denoting disabilities, disabled veteran status or Purple Heart statusFill out an application for an examination permit, for written tests, though written test facilities aren't available in the mobile MVC unit. Bergen also announced in addition to the pop-up in Long Valley, there is one in Denville on Thursday, Aug. 23 and in Mine Hill at the American Legion on Monday, Sept. 13.
