Description
HOBOKEN, NJ — Back-to-school planning has already begun in Hoboken, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the public schools.
The first day of school for students in Hoboken, according to the school calendar adopted in June, is Sept. 9, a Thursday.
Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change amid the coronavirus pandemic. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in some towns, and the state may release further guidance. In June, Gov. Phil Murphy said that each district may make a decision about masks in the schools.
Here is the list of dates for this school year, according to the current Hoboken calendar:
First Day: Sept. 9
Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 25-26 (half day on 24th)
Winter Break: Dec. 24-31 (half day on 23rd)
Spring Break: April 15-22 (half day on 14th)
Last Day: June 22
