Now Hiring Peach Stand Managers Have fun selling orchard-direct Palisade peaches while making some serious summer cash! Stand managers generally average $200-$500 per day. ***Please read the full description before applying!*** This position is for someone with management experience, it involves inventory management, cash handling, customer service, record keeping, and other managerial functions. This is not an entry-level position. This position requires a bright, friendly personality. Must be a people person and love to engage with customers! Must have a strong interest in local food and/or agriculture! You must be willing to learn (or already know) facts about Colorado Palisade peaches, peach varieties, our growers, how we bring their delicious fruit to the Front Range, how to store and freeze peaches, etc. Must have your own vehicle with current registration and insurance. Truck, suv, van or at least a 4 door sedan w/ hatchback is ideal. You will occasionally have to haul a popup canopy, folding tables, weights, and 18 pound boxes of peaches to the selling location, so smaller vehicles may not be suitable. You must be physically able to lift, squat, rotate at the waist, stand for extended periods of time, perform repetitive motions for a period of time, work outside in extreme heat and weather conditions, and perform other physical functions required to operate our popup peach stands. This is a commissioned sales position. Stand managers generally make two to five hundred dollars per day. This position involves both selling at your own location certain days, and working at our established locations certain days of the week -sometimes solo, sometimes with other team members. This position starts immediately, and continues until mid-to-late September. The position requires full day commitment from around 8am until around 7pm. As for days of the week, we can typically be flexible with most schedules. Full season not required, but end of season bonus will be paid to those who stay on for the entire season. This job is super fun, everyone is happy to get peaches! It’s a physical job, and definitely some substantial work involved, but very rewarding for the right person.
