MERRIMACK, NH — Tufts University recently announced the dean's list for the Spring 2021 semester. Among students earning dean's list honors is Robert Sawdey of Merrimack, class of 2023. Dean's list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. In recognition of their outstanding academic achievement, Emmanuel College in Boston has named nearly 900 students to the Dean's List for the Spring 2021 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Emmanuel students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a 16-credit semester. Local students earning Dean's List include: Kristin Fullerton of Merrimack Haley Boisvert of Merrimack Alexander Blades of Merrimack Caitlyn Moran of Merrimack, excelled during the Spring 2021 semester, achieving a GPA of at least 3.5 to earn a spot on the Dean's List at Hofstra University. Undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their GPA is greater than or equal to 3.40 for nine credit hours of traditionally graded coursework; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete," NE, D, or F; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours. The requirement to make Emerson's Dean's List is a grade point average of 3.7 or higher. Christopher John Maione of Merrimack graduated from Western New England University with a MBA in Program Accounting Concentration. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differs from most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average (GPA). Instead, WPI defines the Dean's List by the amount of work completed at the A level in courses and projects. Highest honors are awarded to students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.85 or better out of a possible 4.0.
