Description
LEMONT, IL — Water main repairs started Tuesday at the intersection of State and 127th streets in Lemont. The Village advised drivers to pay attention to conditions and signs in the work zone and remain alert for workers and equipment.
The project is expected to last 30 days, the Village said.
In April, the Lemont Village Board approved the water main project. In August 2020, the water main had a break, and a temporary repair was done.
The project will include the installation of 10 and 12-inch water main, including pressure connections, and curb, gutter and sidewalk removal and replacement.
