Washington Convention Center 801 Mt Vernon Pl NW, Washington, DC 20001 *Event Dates/Times: 8/20/21 Friday 12pm-8pm 8/21/21 Saturday 10am-7pm 8/22/21 Sunday 10am-5pm *Please list available dates to work in response email* Copper Coast Confections is looking to hire multiple representatives to assist our staff with the sales and booth operations at the 2021 Awesome Con Washington DC event! Copper Coast Confections is a gourmet fudge and hand-crafted artisan chocolate company with a superhero twist! We bring over 20 flavors of gourmet fudge, Belgian chocolates including hand-painted artisan truffles, pecan caramel turtles, almond toffee, superhero pops and more! We are seeking passionate and enthusiastic team-oriented individuals near Washington, DC and surrounding areas to represent our brand. New hires will assist with sampling and product sales, active customer service roles and additional duties of a successful booth. We look for representatives that can engage with customers while capturing fudge and chocolate sales and promoting our brand. Service industry professionals, wait staff, and bartenders have been great additions to our team in the past. Our staff is fun & energetic, hardworking, and dedicated to providing a unique customer experience. If you enjoy a lively and fast paced environment then this position is made for you! Who is ready to join our team and become a Copper Coast Artisan?! *Job Requirements: . Excellent sales service to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction . Personable and outgoing with good mix of people skills . Open availability for the duration of the event hours . Follows all recommended health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for product handling (trained on-site) . Maintain in-stock and presentable appearance of display in assigned areas . Basic math skills and ability to make change on cash transactions . Physically able to stand for duration of the shift *Preferred Skills: . Prior retail sales or brand ambassador experience . “Go the extra mile” to drive sales . Cross sell products and actively engage with potential customers . Maintains a positive and collected demeanor during periods of high volume/activity *Compensation: With a work hard mentality comes a pay day! Cash pay daily is $15 per hour plus tips. Please note any successful hire will be given first choice at working with our team at any upcoming Washington DC area events. In addition to product samples, we will extend an offer of 25% off of any items sold at our booth! *Dress Code: Business casual with a clean and presentable appearance (comfortable closed-toed shoes recommended) *Parking: Company will reimburse for parking costs-please remember to get a receipt! *Event Entry: All representatives will receive ONE exhibitor’s pass which will allow you to enter the event each day. This pass will also allow you to enjoy the afterhours activities if you so choose. Please do not lose this pass! *Breaks: We will be sure to give you a lunch break but you provide your own meals. The time of your break will be assigned each day by onsite Lead and will be determined by the amount of traffic during the event.
