I'm Bassist looking to form a new band writing and playing all original music. I'm looking to explore different tunings, but I would mainly like to stay in Drop "C". I'm not looking for musicians who can play 1000mph, I'm looking for musicians who can play for the song and what it calls for. Musicians who can groove heavy but also kick the audiences teeth in when its time. Vocalist...Leave the ego at the door. You wont get credit for writing every song, because it's a band effort. Each member gets equal credit for writing, even if you bring in one, we all know they get rearranged or tweaked, so just be open to change. My influence's: Bass Player's: John Paul Jones, Duff Mckegan, Getty Lee and Justin Chancellor (Im sure I could fill the page) Musical: Honestly, I've been playing over 30 years, I listen to a lot of music ranging from the 70's to the present, mostly metal and hard rock based. I have a punk background that leads into thrash, speed metal, and stoner rock. I have a huge pallet of music to choose from so I could draw from anywhere. - Criteria: You must have a steady job, reliable transportation, be willing to practice 2 to 3 times a week, have weekend's off, minimum 10 years of GIGGING under your belt-not years of playing-GIGGING, MUST HAVE pro equipment, practices are not party sessions or for girlfriends, wives or friends to hang around. I'm sorry for sounding abrasive, but these are issues that have created problems in the past, so its best to be on the same page from the start. - Commitment: If you're NOT going to take it seriously please don't waste my time. If you don't wake up and go to bed with music in your head then this might not be for you. I love it loud, and I love it HEAVY.
