CHARLOTTE, NC — Charlotte police are asking for the community's help locating a missing 63-year-old man who suffers from cognitive concerns. Melvin Pharr, 63, was reported missing from the 3900 block of LaSalle Street and last seen Friday, July 30 around noon in the 3900 block of Freedom Drive, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department said. Pharr was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, shorts, and tennis shoes, and is believed to be on foot, CMPD said. "Mr. Pharr suffers from cognitive concerns," police said. CMPD said anyone with information about Pharr's whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 immediately.
