MOUNTAIN BROOK, AL — A Nashville-based bank is expanding its footprint in the Birmingham metro. FirstBank will open a full-service office on Hollywood Boulevard in Mountain Brook Village, according to the Birmingham Business Journal. The office will open in the location previously occupied by Beal Bank. This is the bank's first full-service location in the Birmingham area, although it entered the Alabama market through FirstBank Mortgage in 2011 with the acquisition of Birmingham-based mortgage brokerage company Henger Rast.
