Coon Rock Farm (www.coonrockfarm.com), a sustainable family farm on the banks of the Eno River in Hillsborough, is looking for part time garden help. Experience with organic farming practices is a plus and ability to lift up to 50 pounds and a valid driver's license is necessary. Tasks include garden and equipment work, picking and planting produce in the outside garden and in our three greenhouses, cleaning produce, processing and packing orders/CSA, delivering orders and occasional work with animals (chickens, pigs). Ability to get along with others and communicate effectively is a must. Anyone applying must be a non-smoker and have COVID 19 vaccine. Days can be long and strenuous but the location is beautiful. Compensation starts at $10/hour based on experience. Benefits include working outdoors in a happy environment and all the produce you can eat to take home at the end of the day!
