Utility Locator/Laborer Position Available Starting Pay: $15-17+/hr. depending on experience Kelly Cable of NM, LLC is an established Utility Construction company that focuses on underground excavation, directional boring, aerial telecommunications, fiber optic cable placement and gas line install services. We’re looking for a Utility Locator to work alongside our BSW (buried service wire) crews to pre-survey construction job sites! Responsibilities: - Identifies needs for permitting and traffic control on each job site - Spray paints white lines intended for underground excavation to locate utility lines - Enters construction job information into computer systems for tracking purposes Required Skills: - 1-3 years of experience in the construction, underground or telecom industry - Prior experience locating underground utility lines preferred - Ability to perform basic administrative tasks such as completing paperwork in a timely manner - Strong shovel digging skills needed We offer: - Health, vision and dental insurance options - Paid holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO) - Life insurance - Short-term and long-term disability insurance options - 401k retirement plan with a company contribution All applicants must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment & random drug screening!
