Job Description and Task: Osmose Utilities Services is seeking Crew Members to dig, inspect, and treat utility poles. The position requires weekly overnight travel, the ability to work outdoors in a fast paced physically demanding position, being dependable, and performing quality work. Job requirements include digging 18 inches down around pole, bending, lifting, and walking/hiking. Ride in company vehicle and lodging provided. Pay and Benefits: Full-time position with steady income. Starting wage is $15/hr plus additional $1.75/hr summer incentive pay for working full weeks thru August, weekly production bonus, crews earning an extra $2 adder pay on certain projects, health, dental, and vision insurance available, company matched 401K, paid holidays and vacation, lodging provided. Typically crews travel overnight during the week and home on weekends. Lodging provided. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operate in a safe and efficient manner utilizing all required safety equipment (hard hat, safety vest, work boots, etc.) Utilize equipment to excavate ground material around utility poles. Apply wood preservatives to the groundline area of a pole. Must achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work based on job norm and in comparison to fellow employees.
