I have partnered with Habitat for Humanity to have a healthy, affordable place to call home. As a future Habitat homeowner, I play a hands-on role in the homeownership process, beginning with the sweat equity hours I have to perform. To fulfill sweat equity hours, I work alongside volunteers to help build and renovate the place I will call home. Sweat equity hours can only be fulfilled on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. I need some individuals who would love to volunteer and give their time on a construction site to learn new skills and meet new people while helping me fulfill my Sweat Equity hours. A typical day is as follows: arrive between 7:45 am-8 am, 8 am overview, safety protocol and assignments given, 8:30 am or before start time. Lunch break at 11 am-11:30 am, start cleaning up at 2:30 and leave by 3 pm. Breaks in between for water and restroom.
