We are seeking experienced Craftsmen and Technicians with a variety of construction skills to join our growing construction company based in Denver, Colorado. We do project across the state and sometimes out of state. The primary duties of this position are to support the superintendent on the job site and be his “right hand”. You will work full time on one or multiple projects as needed to complete the work to our standards and timeline. We believe in Stakeholders who are sold out to what we’re doing, not people who punch clocks. Everyone is a Stakeholder because we only want people who will “own” their work, not just do it. Employees have to be told what to do, Stakeholders are proactive and make the job and company better. Positions Responsibilities: The general contractor tasks / Craftsman has experience in multiple types of general building repair, maintenance, and framing. Structural steel experience would be a big bonus but not mandatory. You must have basic construction skills, be organized, and effectively communicate with others with a positive attitude. Culture and talent is the most important things we are looking for. Skills are important but they can also be taught... culture and talent cannot. Below are some skills we would like to have in a candidate. All Candidates Should Be Confident In The Following Areas - General knowledge of Building Codes - Material Management Requirements - Must have current Driver's License and submit to a background check - Must have vehicle and good references - Must have experience in the general construction repair trades - Must pass screening process Preferred skills: • Very high attention to detail – please don't apply if this isn't a great asset you bring to the game – it's going to be the most important talent you'll bring with you to do all the things we want done. • Sense of urgency – things can't happen tomorrow (tomorrow never comes). We need someone who will get hives if things aren't getting done today. • Excellent communication skills in person and on the phone • Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing and one-time activities and projects • Ability to logically solve problems with little supervision • Strong attention to detail, did we mention this already? • Initiative and the ability to figure things out on your own if needed • Comfortable with change and working in unknown situations • Discretion in handling and communicating sensitive information • Ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment • Willingness to work under pressure in a dynamic environment • A positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done What You Will Receive Earn $20-$30 / hr, depending on your skills and availability.
