Be a Hospice Volunteer: Do something great for those in great need. No more than 4 hours per week. Hospice volunteers work with an interdisciplinary team (Dr., Nurses, CNA's, Social Workers, and others) to provide compassionate, quality comfort care that enhances the lives of people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. Volunteers are needed throughout the Denver Metro region to help with: Companionship/Friendly visiting Respite care for family members Light housekeeping Clerical assistance from home, training, outreach and recruitment Creating legacy books. Great opportunity to help others, grow personally, give back, meet new people, experience the challenge of new experience, work directly with our patient and their families. Supportive supervision and training provided. Background check required.
