We are a large commercial painting contractor in Madison WI that focuses on new construction. We do large, extended projects which last several weeks to several months. We don’t hire new employees very often, as most of our employees have been with us for over a year. We offer health insurance benefits after 60 days, a steady workload, merit based pay, weekly paychecks, direct deposit, and an opportunity for fast advancement. We like to promote from within and there may be an opportunity to move up into a salary based position for the right candidate. We are seeking career orientated individuals, who are mature, responsible, and able to work without direct supervision. No experience is required, we will train a good candidate. Entry level positions starting at $14/hour, pay based on merit, experience, reliability, knowledge, dependability and most importantly production. If you can learn fast and get things done you can move up very quickly. We will pay fairly for anyone w prior experience in construction, especially painting. Most of our work is in the Madison area, w some light travel no further than Janesville (gas provided in that situation). Must have reliable transportation to and from the project, as well as steel toed boots. Work week is from Monday - Friday, 7am-330pm w a 15 min paid break at 930 and a 30 min lunch at noon, for a total of 40 hours a week. Payday is every Friday for the Monday-Sunday the week before. We have at least 2 years of under contract w more ongoing, so this is a permanent full time position.
