Brain Health and Breast Cancer Study

We are conducting a study to examine brain health prior to and after chemotherapy treatment in order to predict which patients will experience cognitive difficulties later on. The study will involve the following procedures: • Brain MRI scan (on campus): a way of taking pictures of the brain. It does not involve any injections, radiation or other harmful effects. • Cognitive tests (at home): online measures of attention, processing speed, memory, and language skills. • Questionnaires (at home): online surveys about sleep, mood, distress, energy levels and medical history. These procedures will be completed at 2 different visits: at enrollment and again 1 year later. You will receive $75 for each visit.
