GROOMING ASSISTANT Part time, 2 days per week approx 7-8 hours per day & ocassional Sat. As of Sept, days will be Wed 8am-4pm & Fri 9am-4:30pm with occasional Saturdays 9am-3:30pm and the possibility of regular Saturdays (a 3rd day) at some point. Until Sept, the days will be Tues 10am-5pm & Wed 9am-4pm. Please note that end time will vary slightly based on appointments. There will be a week of training which will include Tues/Wed/Fri/Sat for that week. No experience required, but must must be comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes and have a strong willingness to take direction and learn. Duties include bathing & drying dogs; assisting groomer with holding & calming dogs, brushouts, etc; greeting & cashing out clients and scheduling new appointments; updating client records; LOTS of cleaning (don't apply if you don't like to clean); reminder calls & more as necessary. Must be able to help lift dogs & be on your feet for most of the day. Excellent customer service skills is a must. Reliability is essential & must live within 20 minutes of Antrim NH.
