We have several 17-week-old purebred Black Copper Marans and Welsummer roosters that we're considering rehoming. We'd prefer they go to a pet home or, at the very least, a home that will let them live out a few years fulfilling their purpose as flock protectors and studs. We've invested a lot of money into sourcing clean, healthy stock from breeders who prize their roosters' freindly temperament, so we feel pretty confident that they'll remain personable well into adulthood. That's one of the reasons we'd love to see them remain pets, of course what folks choose to do with them in the end is out of our hands, but those are our hopes. Still, the colors they'll add to your flock are bar none. The photo below is of some of eggs these fellows hatched from. They've been on organic feed and pasture from day one. Asking $15 rehoming fee.
