A yard / receiving / expeditor position is currently available: Summary of Organizational Role: Receive, stock, deliver, and expedite HVAC & plumbing parts, equipment and supplies needed to complete company projects in a cost effective and efficient manner and perform maintenance tasks on vehicles, buildings, grounds, tools, equipment and other assets belonging to the company. Role is Accountable for: • Receiving of all materials at the warehouse and distribution of equipment and materials to job sites as requested. • Maintenance of computerized inventory control systems for Service Parts, Consumables, and the stock in service vans. • Staging and assistance with loading of all equipment and supplies for field staff • Assisting with the maintenance and inspections of all company fleet vehicles • Maintenance of buildings, storage yard and grounds • Safe operation of the warehouse, yard and grounds Role Authorities: • Report to Warehouse Manager freight received that is not in good condition and assist with returns of damaged goods and of freight claims. • Refer customer complaints to the appropriate employee for resolution • Alert Warehouse Manager to equipment and supplies that do not meet project specification • Notify Project managers of parts and supplies that will be, or are being, delivered to project sites. Outcomes Accomplished are: • Crews have information on when parts and supplies will be delivered to job sites • External and internal customers are satisfied with the cost and quality of the items purchased • Computerized inventory of equipment and supplies is up-to-date and accurate • Building, grounds and equipment are clean, safe and secure and in good working order • Supplies and equipment are received undamaged and properly staged for delivery to job sites. Must have: A thorough understanding of HVAC and plumbing equipment, materials, and parts A great enthusiastic attitude & willingness to work Customer service skills High school diploma or GED A valid Alaska drivers license A clean driving record Experience with warehouse or manufacturing environments Be able to lift 50lbs Highly Preferred: Computer & data entry experience Previous experience sorting and inventorying HVAC and plumbing parts KLEBS Mechanical Inc offers great wages and benefits.
