To apply visit performss.com or walk in to our Rock Hill office at 127 east main street Rock Hill,SC Welder – Chester; Pay DOE roughly $16-$19; 1st shift 7am-530pm Mon-Thur Welders MUST MIG and TIG and WALK THE CUP Responsible for assembling structural metal products using tools, machines, and their own hands. Fabricates various types of products. Study and interpret assembly instructions Fabricate frameworks or shells or machinery, ovens, tanks, and stacks, and metal parts Fabricate and assemble structural metal products Determine if all parts and materials are present Read and interpret blueprints and sketches Read parts list Do a material take off from drawings Positions parts and sub-assemblies Interpret Measurements Hammer, grind, and chip work pieces Verify specifications Assemble components Ensure parts are screwed in and fitted properly Alter dimensions to fit specs Resolve assembly and production issues Complete preventative maintenance Troubleshoot malfunction and make repairs as necessary Ensure working environment is clean and safe Operate Fabricating machines such as saw, drill press, press brake, grinder, and sander Report errors in production line Check stock to ensure inventory is replenished Complete quality control forms Place orders for supplies Participate in product development Build prototypes and test products PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours a day Must be able to go up and down a ladder, steps or other lifts as needed Must be able to work in outdoor weather and/or unregulated temperatures for 10-12 hours per day EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or equivalent 3+ years Fabrication Shop Experience
