Trying To Help Someone Find Housing in Highland Park/SMU Area

My friend had been taking care of a Veteran since January that had been diagnosed with cancer. Provided him with 24/7 care because he had no family or friends to take care of him. Gave himself up willingly even work because in his mind it was the right thing to do. He kept asking my friend if he was going to leave him and he said he would stay with him until he died. He couldn't just leave him like that in the condition he was in. Sadly he has passed away. Seeing as he was caring for him out of the apartment he is going to need to leave the apartment soon and that's why I am making this post. I wanted to see if there is anyone out there that could help him out with a room. He is really giving and has gone above and beyond to help someone else out that was in need. He plans on working, but willing to help out with what he can for a room. He is great with animals and always willing to help others out. Does not smoke, drink, do drugs. I figured there may be someone with a spare room that maybe needs a house sitter or maybe someone with a back house or little apartment on the property not being used. Looking in the Lake Highlands, Forest Hills, HP areas, but open to other areas as well such as Arlington. If anyone can help out and even if you can't please share this post.
