Maintenance Technician Wanted (Orange County, CA) Compensation: $23-$26 per hour. Highly qualified candidates can earn even more. Employment type: full-time, with vacation pay and health benefits. JDCorp Property Management is looking for skilled maintenance technicians to work at our locations in North Orange County. Successful candidates must be able to work as part of a team and independently under the direction of the Property Manager. This position involves frequent interaction with apartment residents. A professional attitude and good communication skills are required. We also require proof of COVID vaccination. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Painting, drywall, plumbing, basic electrical, tile and carpentry. Must have at least 2 years of construction or maintenance and repair experience. Applicants must be willing to submit to a background check, have reliable transportation and have their own basic tools. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES  Daily facilities maintenance.  Respond to resident/management requests and work orders for community common areas, buildings and units in timely manner Assist with maintenance and repair of apartment homes when vacated so that they can quickly be rented to new residents.  Assist in the daily cleanup of the exterior of the community including buildings and community grounds at properties managed by JDCorp.  Perform daily Inspection of grounds, building and other community features to identify and correct hazardous property conditions or liability concerns  Be responsible for maintaining a well-organized maintenance workshop and for tracking of materials and supplies used/on-hand.  Properly maintain records of maintenance requests and report on status of repairs.  Assist with the general upkeep, maintenance and cleaning of office and work areas.  Participate in on-call emergencies at community locations as required (overtime is paid as appropriate).
