Position Title: General Labor/Yard Associate Wage: $15/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-6pm (Monday-Thursday) Looking for a temporary position where you will have a 3-day weekend? This auto auction company is looking for honest, reliable, and detail-orientated candidates that are open to working outside most of their shift with a friendly approach. Seeking General Laborers/Yard Associate on 1st shift. Temporary role. Please give us a call or stop by our office if interested. We can get you started immediately. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Assist the yard with cleaning out salvaged cars before they go to the auction - Escort auction members to view vehicles; will observe members while they view the vehicles - Sweep, clean, and pick up trash and other light cleaning as needed - DO NOT operate any equipment, drive or ride in any vehicle, or work off ground level without prior communication and approval from QPS - Power wash the cars - Vacuum out the cars - Make sure the cars are cleaned to the standards given - Clean up their area at the end of the shift to ensure the parking lot is clear of debris Requirements: - Warehouse experience or janitorial experience preferred - Stand for a full shift - Carry a 16 gal vacuum cleaner from vehicle to vehicle - Hold a pressured power washer to clean multiple vehicles - Lift 30-50lbs to use a power washer QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with nearly 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
