We are currently accepting applications for a Community Service Worker I position in the Parks Division. This position performs custodial duties, skilled work and manual labor in a variety of mechanical and building trade tasks in the development and maintenance of facilities, structures and grounds for all City owned parks, playgrounds, trails and green spaces. This position may at times be assigned to the other divisions of the Community Services Department to assist in completing a task/project as needed. The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.), possess or obtain (within 6 months of hire) and maintain a valid Class B CDL license with no air brake restrictions, and have strong customer service skills. Advanced custodial service and preventive maintenance knowledge is preferred. Typical hours of position: at times will require PM and weekend work, and seasonally may adopt a modified schedule to include 4 ten-hour work days.
