We have an immediate need for a temporary full-time maintenance person/porter for an historical midtown non-profit institution. Among your duties, you will sweep, mop, clean-up, and do light maintenance duties as your skills permit. You will work with a great group of people – including the maintenance supervisor who has been there for over 25 years. You will work approximately 40 hours per week with a possibility of additional paid overtime. You must be avalable on some weekends and evenings. No promises made, but this position has lead to a permanent full-time position with amazing benefits on most occasions - if you prove yourself as being reliable as well as a team player. If so, you will have amazing benefits - including fully-paid health which starts on the first day of permanent employment. You must have stable related work experience to be considered.
