Event Coordinator Wanted Based in New York City for 20+ years, ILW started as a SaaS tech startup in 2000 and morphed into a marketing/publishing company. We are expanding our tech roots in the post covid era and are poised to go through a significant growth spurt as the immigration field expands in the Biden era. We have an immediate opening for a part time Event Coordinator in New York which can lead to a full-time position upon good performance (if this happens, we will sponsor for H1B). This job is perfect for students (employer letter provided for OPT/CPT). ❖ What the job involves: • This is an entry-level role related to marketing, it involves working closely with decision makers as we have small teams. • ILW conducts educational seminars in different cities across the US once every 3 weeks. The specialist will travel with the event manager of our company for 3 to 5 days every 3 weeks and assist the event manager in conducting the seminars including: registering event attendees communicating with hotel and getting response fast, working with local event assistants, and many miscellaneous tasks assigned by the event manager on site. ❖ The right candidate must have the following: • A minimum college degree in Marketing or related major is required, a Master’s degree is preferred. • Skilled in using IT tools, esp, Google suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom. • Detail-oriented, notice mistakes and is able to deliver high quality accurate work. • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills under tight time constraints. • Good communication skills. ❖ What ILW.COM offers: • ILW offers a unique opportunity to work in an exciting, fast paced, energetic environment of a small company. • Hands-on experience and huge potential to grow. • You will receive a stipend plus all travel expenses. • This position can transition to full time upon successful performance.
