Volunteer with Columbus Gives Back and provide groceries for shoppers at Inprem Food Pantry Even amidst Covid-19, the Inprem Food Pantry is still operating its drive-thru 5 days a week with a produce market on the third Saturday of every month, and serving all zip codes! What: Volunteers are needed to take orders, compile the food in a box for our neighbors in the drive-thru. Some volunteers will help with directing traffic, check-out, or re-stocking. When: Tuesday, August 24th 4pm - 7pm Where: Inprem Community Resource Center, 5757 Karl Rd. Columbus, OH 43229 Event Leader(s): [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. We require volunteers to bring masks and practice social distancing for all indoor events. About Inprem: The vision of Inprem Holistic Community Resource Center is to continue to strengthen the strong collaboration with grassroots stakeholders, organizations, corporations, municipalities, professional consultants, businesses, and individuals to provide the necessary community resources, and comprehensive services within the confines of one structure. The cross pollination of our groups enhances our potential to create innovative methods, to uplift the spirits of the community and inspire and empower the people. We have been able to create a lasting solution to poverty of the soul, spirit and hunger of the mind and body. Our five primary objectives of focus are: Health and Nutrition (Daily walk-in food pantry), Education, Clothing Closet and furniture, Mentorship, Career Development and Access to Advance Technology. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
