Description
PLEASE READ... I am receiving a rescued RES and planning on holding it until I can find it a better home. It is too large to mix in with my painted turtles and bass aquarium I have setup and I don't really have the space to set up another enclosure right now.
FREE, but the only catch is that it needs to go to a decent sized garden pond and treated as a pet not just an animal in a retention pond. I am a firm believer that if you buy a reptile you should simulate their natural environment and provide enough space that they can live a great life. Most people do not provide that as to why this turtle isn't leaving my house unless its going to a pond that is suitable for a turtle. From what I am told it has always been a pet so it will NOT survive if you just let it go in your neighborhood pond out back. It seems to be in good health other than the shell is deformed a bit, I would assume lack of UVB which a lot of people tend to do with them. Please reply back with pictures of your pond or setup and I will let you know if I am comfortable letting you take it. I don't mean to sound rude but they are not "easy" animals to take care of unless you know what they need and I just want this guy to have the best life he possibly can. FCFS as long as it is a suitable setup. I will respond back with pictures of the turtle when you reach out.
