LIMITED to 15 PEOPLE Leave modern development and traffic behind and travel back to the days of the colonies on a horseback trail ride through the unspoiled rolling hills and streams of Patapsco Valley State Park in southwestern Carroll County. Through 8,000 acres of picturesque parkland, these trails run alongside flowing streams and cliffs overlooking the woodlands and offer an abundance of flora and fauna. Listen to the natural music of waterfalls and water flows over rocky streambeds mixed with the gentle sounds of hooves upon the ground. Spring and Summer are beautiful times to enjoy the natural beauty as Mother Nature begins to awake from the cold weather. After our 1-hour journey, relax and enjoy a warming bonfire with soda and s’mores. Alcohol will not be served, but feel free to bring your own. As with all outdoor activities, there is always the possibility of inclement weather. Please be aware of the weather and check this website the day before the event for inclement weather instructions. When purchasing tickets, please be sure to provide a Saturday morning contact number, rather than a weekday office number, should it be necessary to contact you regarding the changes in schedule due to the weather.
