Description
Our older dog cannot seem to get along with our puppy. He is very dominant with her and does not pick up on her social cues and escalates play into full blown fights quickly.
I absolutely do not want to let him go, but I only see the situation getting worse as he gets bigger.
He cries at the back door to go out and is doing amazing at potty training.
He has a large wire collapsible crate that will accommodate him into adulthood, although he hates it.
He is a happy puppy and loves his ball and blanket.
He shows interest in our cat but leaves her alone for the most part.
He is mouthy like most puppies, but a home without small children is ideal.
He likes the water and walks. (Leash training is almost there but he still tries to bite it occasionally)
Knows how to sit and getting better at lay down and leave it.
I really hate to let him go, but he needs a home that has a dog who has more experience with puppies. I’d hate for him to be the only dog, as he does like my red heeler.
Both of his parents are registered, and I do have photos of each. I paid quite a bit for him, and I am taking a huge loss financially asking half of what I paid, but I want him to go to a good home who is serious about him and who can provide him a better and safer environment with a dog who has been around a lot of puppies.
Must have stable home and no young children!
