Join BlackOak for a networking happy hour! Are you looking for a Black environmental network in the DMV? Join us for our very first happy hour on Thursday, August 5th at Wild Days, located on the rooftop of the Eaton Hotel (1201 K St NW, Washington, DC 20005) from 6 - 8 PM ET. This event is open to all Black people who engage in work or study relating to environmental issues. Food and drinks will be provided for BlackOak Members. BlackOak is creating a formal home for the many Black environmental communities in the DMV. We’re building community to sustain each other as we pursue a better world and so we can collaborate across fields in the service of collective advancement.
