The goal of Fashion Week Boot Camp is to familiarize the makeup artist and hair stylist with what to expect at a fashion show and how to perform as a professional. Topics covered: • Station Setup • Infection Control & Sanitation • Mood Boards • Kit Essentials • Backstage Etiquette & Attire • Getting Past Obstacles • Media & Press • Social Media • Networking We do not provide products or tools for the hands-on portion of the class. We encourage you to bring your makeup and/or hairstyling kits for a kit assessment and recommendations along with hands-on practice. We encourage you to bring your makeup or hair kit for an assessment to join us for NYFW. New York Institute of Beauty is dedicated to a high level of education for our students and to the continued accomplishments and success of our graduates, so he or she may find gainful employment in the appearance enhancement fields.
