Local, established group seeks experienced, versatile bassist. Donald Duck Dunn meets Rob Pope? Ideally someone who loves soul/funk and indie rock. You: • can learn songs quickly as well as contribute to new ideas • have played in bands, recorded, played shows and maybe toured a bit • are a nice human being • practice once a week, shows monthly-ish + Bonus points if you can sing harmonies or play other instruments. We're releasing a new LP this Summer, looking to play and promote it as we can. Band we dig: Spoon, The Walkmen, Paul Simon, Beirut, Booker T & The MGs, Phoenix, The Cardigans, Elliott Smith, Harry Nilsson, The Shins, Wilco, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, LCD Soundsystem, Timber Timbre, Alvvays...
