The Unity: arts. culture. healing. wellness. walks-ins. & cultural celebration that links the Humboldt Park and Lawndale communities. The Unity: arts. culture. healing. wellness. walks-ins. is a walk and cultural celebration that links both Humboldt Park a Puerto Rican community on the west side of Chicago and Douglass Park, an African American and Mexican community in Chicago. With the support of Rush Hospital and The Move Your Way®, Healing Every Youth - HEY is making it easier to get a little more active. In accordance with Be Safe Chicago Guidelines for Parks and Recreation Activities, participants in this activity will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times while participating. Patrons who are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19 are asked to stay home and join us for an event when symptoms subside.
