Love paranormal TV? Want to learn the difference between what you see on TV and a real investigation? Then this workshop is for you! This workshop is designed to prepare participants to conduct a paranormal investigation. Participants will learn about the different types of entities and hauntings, types of psychic experiences, history and science of parapsychology, tools and technology used in investigations, researching and planning a successful investigation, closing out an investigation with a client, and adhering to a professional investigators’ code of ethics. The course will culminate with a 2-hour investigation of the Marvel Carriage Museum, which includes many structures known to have paranormal activity - the Barrel Barn, Workmen's Barn, Church, Lynch Building, and Telephone Museum. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE VACCINATED FOR COVID-19 or Wear a Mask during this event. We will be working closely together and during the paranormal investigation may not be able to maintain a 3 to 6-foot social distance. Course Objectives: Upon completion, participants will be able to: Define the terms apparition, haunting, and poltergeist. Detail basic facts about the science of parapsychology. Describe types of psychic phenomena. Demonstrate the tools and technology used in paranormal investigations. Demonstrate basic pre-investigation research methods. Explain the code of ethics for professional paranormal investigators. Conduct a safe and professional paranormal investigation. Explain proper methods of achieving client resolution post-investigation. Dr. Carol Pollio, Director of Intuitive Investigations®, is a Professional Intuitive and Spiritual Medium. A certified Quantum Life Coach®, Professional Intuitive, Elemental Space Clearing® Practitioner and Colette Baron-Reid Certified Oracle Guide™, she is an experienced intuitive coach, focusing primarily on newly developing intuitives or those just starting to explore the world of intuition and psychic ability. Dr. Pollio also teaches paranormal investigation, conducts investigations, and helps diminish or resolve unwanted spirit activity. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Science, retiring in 2016 as a Chief Scientist with 38 years of service in a federal agency, a 34 year veteran of the US Coast Guard Reserve, and a Professor of Environmental Science. Her unique combination of psychic ability and scientific research expertise have culminated in her life purpose, which is teaching others that there is much more to life than what we experience on the physical plane.
