Come learn how volunteer engagement professionals can support volunteers serving within difficult cause areas. The Dallas Human Rights and Human Rights Museum is dedicated to teaching the history of the Holocaust and advancing human rights to combat prejudice, hatred and indifference. We’ll be learning from Annie Black, Director of Programs and Volunteers at the museum. Come learn how volunteer engagement professionals can support volunteers serving within difficult cause areas. We’ll discuss how to train and prepare volunteers for this work and support them through their life of service with our organizations. Finally, we’ll learn about creating positive support systems for volunteers so that we can create lasting relationships that further serve our missions. There will be something for everyone to experience. Join us! We will not be providing lunch, but you are more than welcome to bring your on to enjoy during the meeting.
