Night of Poetry Join us for the 2021 Inaugural Art & Health Fest presented by the North Carolina Collaborative for Art & Health and North Carolina Central University’s Advanced Center for COVID Related Disparities (ACCORD). We would like to invite you out to the Carolina Theatre on Saturday, August 21st from 3-8pm for an afternoon of safe, distanced, family-friendly fun where we’ll have free PPE, music, giveaways, and performances throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Night of Poetry is a community health event and closing ceremony for Poetry? In a Pandemic?, a 7-week youth art-intervention program where participants receive COVID-19 and political education immersed in a poetry writing workshop. The pre-event community fair will be held at the venue. There will be a mobile vaccination unit, free PPE distribution, health information and tabling for community organizations. *OPEN TO THE PUBLIC .
