Teen Experience: Pop Art Portraits Pop art is an art movement that emerged in the United Kingdom and the United States during the mid-to-late-1950s. Teens are invited to create a self-portrait in the style of Lichtenstein Or Warhol. For self-portraits, teens need to bring a photo that is at least 4X6. In addition, there will be an option to choose from predesigned art for those who do not want to create a self-portrait. Teens in grades 6th-10th are invited to hang out and have fun during this interactive program. Registration Requested. Space Very Limited. Effective Monday, August 2, 2021, all Wake County Facilities including Public Libraries, will require visitors and staff ages 3 and up to wear a mask and complete a brief health screening questionnaire upon entering buildings.
