Field Service Technician Pella of Austin – Austin, TX Pella of Austin is looking for a Service Technician to join our team! Are you a driven, independent, self-starter who always strives to be number one with your customers? Do you have a proven track record of fine attention to detail and getting a lot done? This position is responsible for servicing our Pella products in area homes as well as new construction jobsites while providing exceptional customer experience. Successful Service Technician candidate has a desire to learn and a positive outlook to turn challenges into opportunities. Construction experience is a plus. New Service Technicians will work directly with experienced techs to learn the trade. Job Requirements: • 1+ year prior experience in carpentry or the construction field. • 1+ year prior experience in field service tech role, preferably with maintenance and repair experience. • Valid License, with clean driving record. • Experienced with the use of hand and power tools. Field Technician Job Responsibilities: • Diagnose issues on Pella windows and doors. • Determine what parts are needed for service. • Service current and vintage Pella Windows and Doors in Austin and surrounding areas. • Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions. • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product, install techniques, and construction basics. • Understands and adheres to the established Pella of Austin processes and standards. • Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and /or alternate techniques.
