Local Electrical GC looking for an experienced Electrician to join our fun team! DUTIES - Translate plans, drawings, schematics, and specifications into action plans - On occasion will assist to build, install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and components, controls, panels, and circuits - Communicate with customers, staff, partners, and suppliers in a professional manner - Documentation via computer and smartphone - Execute other duties as assigned - Will be working with an apprentice - Travel throughout Bay Area Peninsula and occasionally to San Francisco and San Jose - Cover driving area of Bay Area (Peninsula) MUST-HAVES - 3+ yrs of experience as an Electrician in residential field - Leadership capability, prior experience preferred - Experience with layout and installation of electrical equipment, conduit, wiring and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes - OSHA 30 Certification - Possession of your own hand tools and small power tools - Ability to pass criminal background - Proficient with laptop/tablet/smart phone with office software - Reliable transportation - Ability to read blueprints - Strong customer facing skills & experience - Able to lift 50 lbs - PPE: Safety Glasses;Gloves Face mask JOB DETAILS - Rate : $30to $40 p/h depending on experience - Typical work week from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - This is a long term position - Mileage expenses covered. References & background checks will be required
