Duties and Responsibilities Complete all painting duties inside and outside community, providing a clean, attractive finish in a timely manner Partner with maintenance staff as needed to ensure maintenance of the community Prepare surfaces for painting, including removal of nails, filling holes, sanding, etc. Regularly inspect community for touch-up painting opportunities and complete them Take care to avoid paint on all floors, cabinets, counters, appliances, and lighting fixtures Respond to work orders, enter detailed notes in Yardi, and follow-up or escalate when needed Assist with inventory control. Regularly provide manager with list of supplies needed to ensure items are not depleted Follow all safety and OSHA guidelines Always remain professional in interactions with residents and staff Ability to climb up and down ladders Contribute to the cleanliness of shared employee spaces like restroom and break room Other duties and assignments as requested by management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Experience painting in professional environments Light maintenance skills in a high-rise or residential community Competence to assess priorities, give attention to detail, multi-task and meet deadlines Understanding and ability to follow safety procedures Remain professional in all communications Keep detailed records and ability to complete reports Lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs Ability to sit, walk or stand for extended periods of time Ability to be exposed to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes and noises Ability to use smartphone to track hours worked, communicate with other staff, record work completed, and other tasks as assigned Minimum Qualifications High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience 1-year experience with interior painting, including all aspects of paint preparation and tool maintenance Valid CA driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Excellent customer service and verbal and written communication skills The above statements describe the essential functions and qualifications needed for this position and has been prepared by Trinity to use in planning, staffing, budgeting and/or evaluation of employees.
