Safe Families for Children is a movement to keep local children safe and families supported. Join us for a 5k Run/Walk to help raise money! Safe Families for Children is a movement motivated by compassion, generosity, and hospitality to keep children safe and families supported facing a crisis. We bring church and community together mobilizing an army of volunteers to advocate for vulnerable children and socially isolated families. This 5k Run/Walk will be to raise money and awareness for this amazing organization and the community of people they are surrounding and supporting. The Run/Walk will be October 9th at the Onalaska Great River Landing across from Dash Park and David Reays Diner. Registration will open at 7:30am with the run beginning at 8:30am. There will be prizes for the 1st Men's and Women's finisher. Water and fruit will also be provided for the runners. Once completed the runners will receive a long-sleeved shirt. There will be booths from some local area businesses who are supporting Safe Families. The registration cost is $25 a person with a day of registration of $35 a person.
