A hiking tour with several stops to talk about the history of Turkey Mountain sprinkle with mystery, lore, and future plans for improvements **** NO REFUNDS within 7 days of the event **** Join us for a two and a half hour guided hike with River Parks’ resident Turkey Mountain Expert and former professional archaeologist, Ryan Howell. The hike will include multiple stops to discuss Turkey Mountain’s role in the oil boom of Tulsa and touch on rumors of bigfoot and Vikings. We will also talk about Turkey Mountain’s future and a Master Plan to restore the ecology of the area and make the trails more sustainable. You’ll learn more about Turkey than you every wanted to know! This hike can be strenuous in places and is NOT recommended for people with mobility issues or children under 14. Hike will last about 2 and 1/2 hours. Per City of Tulsa Emergency Ordinance, Masks are technically not required as we are outdoors engaging in exercise. However, they are required in places where we cannot maintain 6 feet of physical distancing. So, please bring a mask and be prepared to wear it when passing other groups or if we are in a confined space. Limit of 2 tickets per order. We can only have about 18 people in each group hike so tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance. NO TICKETS will be sold day of or onsite. **** NO REFUNDS within 7 days of the event **** In case of inclement weather, we will move the hike day and issue refunds for those who can't make it on the alternative date. 100% of Proceeds Benefit Tulsa's Turkey Mountain and River Parks.
