Description
Prepare yourself for an insightful conversation Understanding and talking with our customers are some of the most important efforts that we should make when looking for the development and improvement of our early-stage business idea. When trying to discover what our customers think and feel about our business we need to be mindful of the questions that we ask and how we ask them. They said: “You shouldn’t ask your mom if your business idea is good”. But the reality is that we shouldn’t ask anybody if our business idea is good, they will probably lie to us - at least a little-. Asking the right questions to our customers and empathizing with them, could lead us to deeply understand the problems and the realities of the people we are designing solutions for. This will allow us to build something that is really valuable for them. In this workshop, we will practice how to learn about our customers by asking them the right questions and avoiding the most common mistakes when trying to do so! Through this workshop you will learn:How to prepare yourself before talking to your customers How to start meaningful conversationsHow to ask the right questions and avoid the most commons mistakes when trying to understand their thoughts (and feelings)Learn about FOCUS: Mujeres Emprendedoras, a 12-week entrepreneurial training program designed for Venezuelan women in the early stages of their business Meet the Instructor: Gustavo Grande is the Program Director and Lead Instructor of Entrepreneurship for The Idea Center.
