Join us for dinner, drinks, a program, an auction, and showdown poker! A night of fun, food, and history!
The event will begin with drinks and dinner based on 1800s foods and beverages. A cash bar will be available with beer and wine. If you purchase a commemorative shot glass, there will be sasparilla and moonshine to sample.
Following dinner, Tim Ritter, a storytelling historian, will guide us through seven events in the Springfield area. Performers from The Little Theatre will join him to take us on the journey through the 1800s. There will be several items available for auction, and the night will end with showdown poker.
All proceeds will be used to restore our antique 1880s fence that borders Grand Street. Donations excepted at the cemetery or on our website, www.mapleparkcemetery.org.
Sponsorships are still available; this will include a table for 4 or 8 people depending on sponsorship level. Please contact our Superintendent, Tiffany Mims, at the cemetery office, (417) 869-0217, for more information.
