Description

CBS New York August 2, 2021 The federal eviction moratorium expired Saturday night, meaning millions of people across the country who are behind on their rent could soon come home to an eviction notice. In the Tri-State Area, that includes Connecticut, but other states, including New York and New Jersey, have measures in place to help renters. New Yorkers have protections through the end of August. In New Jersey, renters can't be evicted until 2022. CBS Local Digital Media personalizes the global reach of CBS-owned and operated television and radio stations with a local perspective.
